You may know Samantha Brown from the many shows she’s hosted over the years on the Travel Channel. She has a new show airing January to March called “Places to Love,” on PBS. In this episode of “Get Outta Here,” hosted by AP Travel Editor Beth Harpaz, we’ll talk with Brown about “Places to Love” and learn a little bit about the philosophy behind the show. Brown hopes to show us the heart and soul of the destinations she visits by connecting with locals and  immersing herself in culture, the arts and adventures to learn whatever is special about that place. She’ll also talk about the challenges of succeeding as a woman on TV.
