AP Top 25 College Football
Host Ralph Russo tackles on and off-field issues of the sport with an insider look into the AP Poll.
Alabama is coming off maybe the greatest season in Southeastern Conference history, with a national title and 11 wins in 11 SEC games. The Crimson Tide is favored to win the West again, but can Texas A&M or maybe LSU take advantage in some turnover in Tuscaloosa? Cole Cubelic of ESPN and the SEC Network joins AP’s Ralph Russo to preview the SEC. There are several programs that appear to be trending up in the West, though not many look like real threats to the Tide. Meanwhile, in the East, Georgia appears to be a few notches above its closest competition. Can Kentucky surprise? How about Missouri? Maybe, but the Bulldogs have a good looking path to break a national title drought that goes back to 1980.
